Operation Christmas Child

I just have to share this. It made me cry when I watched it. It touched me in a special way because I have participated with Operation Christmas Child through the years in two different ways.
Many years ago while still living in Mexico, I went on a missionary trip to Oaxaca's hill, a small community only reached by unpaved roads. There we took some of these boxes. I'd never seen them before but I remember thinking what a wonderful idea they were, and specially remember the kids from the rancherias with their delighted faces while opening their presents. Fast forward many years and we as a family have now been preparing these boxes to send to kids all over the world through Samaritan's Purse yearly drive through our church. And now I found this, on CNN, and it moved me, listening from a child whose life was changed by one simple shoe box.

Psalm 23

Today the girls were studying for AWANA, and one of them had to memorize Psalm 23. That reminded me about this video, it' so sweet when kids memorize God's Word!
